Kae, a homemaker, lives happily with her husband, Hiroki, and their four-year-old daughter, Haruna. Yet she carries a major frustration. Hiroki, who works at a bank, is constantly overwhelmed by work, leaving Kae to handle childcare on her own. As a result, the couple has been in a sexless marriage for five years. Fearing that this aspect of her life may be over forever, Kae finally gathers the courage to approach her husband, only to be rejected. Years of pent-up frustration come pouring out.
